welcome, welcome.
I spent nearly a decade in U.S. Army Special Operations learning that facts are rarely as simple as they seem. Memory is flawed, perspective is selective, and people lie sometimes to protect themselves and sometimes because the truth is a lot messier than the story we'd rather tell.
As it turns out, writing isn’t all that different.
MEET THE author
I write the kinds of stories that live in the gray space: morally complicated characters, impossible choices, quiet acts of rebellion and people who are one impossible decision or critical plot twist away from becoming the villain.
When I’m not writing, you’ll probably find me with a cup of caffeine and rage in one hand and a book full of questionable life choices in the other. Somewhere between military service, motherhood, and chasing stories that won’t leave me alone, I created The Unreliable Author, not just as a pen name, but as a reminder that every story is shaped by the person brave enough to tell it.
After all, I am The Unreliable Author.
